Common Questions

Does AskBetter include AI credits?

No. The app purchase includes the iOS client only. You provide your own provider API key or endpoint.

Where are my API keys stored?

API keys are stored locally in iOS Keychain on your device. AskBetter does not operate a backend or proxy.

Can I use local AI models?

Yes, when your device can reach your local or LAN endpoint. For Ollama running on a Mac, use the Mac's LAN IP address instead of localhost from the iPhone.
